What should you do when you are good but not enough???

Hey,I'm 18 and I play tennis in a small tennis club.I can defeat my team mates but it is not so easy when sb new comes to our club.First I thought that it was because I didn't know their game that well but later on I understood that this wasn't the actual problem.I can hit the ball strong, serve strong, run fast towards the net,my net game is far from perfection but I am a good baseliner.Anyway,it is obvious that I am the better player ,I have better technique ,but I still lose. And I lose having millions of oppurtunities to win. Many I times I play very well during the rallies but make an absurd mistake at the final (easy) shot. The best comparison I can make is with Hantuchova.I need some advice, what should I do?Am I running out of patience.

Maybe you're nervous when you're playing against someone you don't know. That always happens with me. I'll rally with them through the whole point and finally get my chance to easily put it away and completely mess up. I've found that instead of rushing, try to make it seem like the ball is coming to you in slow motion and analyze where and how you are going to hit it. Always helps with me.

Oh, also, watch the ball. At all times. I found out that sometimes in the middle of the match I would watch the other person instead of the ball which is why I would make stupid mistakes. Good luck! =)

Perhaps you're going for a winner that is "better than it needs to be."

Try going for less of an angle or hitting with less power, make your oppenent win the point instead of you losing it.

    maybe your nervous....

    dont rush yourself.

it takes time to overcome those things.

take nadal and federer for example....

nadal could beat everyone else but not federer.

but now after all of these years he beat him!!!!

    you can do it!!!
