Surprise! Your favorite musician/singer moved next door to you!?

Metallica (I don't have a fav song from them, I like them all).

If they moved next door I'd probably have my friends help me set up some kind of "close call with death" scene like you see in those cartoons with women tied to the tracks. And then one of them, or all of Metallica could come rescue me.

I'd probably have my friends sit in an unmoving car while I run up to it and roll over the hood (to make sure it looked real).

I can't forget the ketchup packets, though! Gotta have fake blood xp

Hmmm....the bad thing about this fabulous question is that it requires me to attempt to pick a favorite musician. And that is one tough task. Mostly I like bands rather than specific musicians, so that makes it hard because I like them as a group mostly. I really like Robert Plant...and Jimi Hendrix...and Jack White....and Chris Walla...and Bob Marley...this is so hard it is making my head hurt! Hmm. I think I'm going to go with Jim Morrison though, in honor of the Doors CD and giant, tie-dyed wall hanging of him that I bought yesterday.

Favorite Song: Break On Through (To The Other Side) (Actually by the Doors, not just him, but whatever.)

What I Would Do If He Moved Next Door To Me: Wow....that would be amazing. I would spend all of my time talking to him or staring at him or listening to Break On Through. Actually I do the last one all the time anyway. I would organize neighborhood block parties and *forget* to invite anyone but him. Heh heh. I'd be a really creepy neighbor.

My favorite musician is Slash, my favorite song by him is Sweet Child O Mine and if he'd move in next door I'd be too shy to go up to him at first but then after awhile I would go up to him and say, " DUDE!!!!!!!!!!! YOU'RE SLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey, so why did you move out here? Did you run out of money or something?" Later on I would ask him to join my band as rhythm guitarist and I'll be lead.................See what you made me do. I'm fantasizing about being in a band with my idol.

Um, PlayRadioPlay lives fairly close, and I've gotten to know him a little. Just a regular guy who lives in an unassuming neighborhood. He's out a lot on tour, but I've gotten to talk with him a few times. Great guy.

Now, if I could choose? Gretchen Wilson. It'd be kick *** to have a BBQ party with her and her family. Plus, we share a similar upbringing, so there'd be some common issues.

Well as a solo artist, my favorite singer would be Rob Zombie and yeah I'd have no problem speaking to him or his wife if they lived next door. As a bonus to that, I'm sure I'd get to see Spider One who is the lead singer of Powerman 5000 because he's Rob's brother.

If Ryan Adams moved in next to me I would ask him if I could hang with him sometime.....

I'd want to sit in on some of his writing and playing outside on the porch.
