Vaginal atrophy before menopause?
From all the symptoms I have, it seems that I have vaginal atrophy. I am only 36, on the pill, very far from menopause. Could this happen from the hormones in the pills? I am on these pills for years, and have never heard of such a thing.
I went to my Dr. She said it was some sort of vaginitis. But the symptoms are much more like vaginal atrophy.
I have done some online research, but have not found any answers.

Atrophy means wasting away....it would be extrememly rare for you to have vaginal atrophy...it could be some other kind of condition..if you are concerned ask your doctor to change meds or to come off of it completely, but i highly doubt that anything this serious would come off of taking bc pills
