Are daisies related to clover?

Last week i had a garden full of daisies. This week i have a load of clover flowers. Are the two related or a completely different family?

No way, daisies are in the Asteraceae, (formerly Compositae family), while clover is in the Fabaceae family, related to peas and other legumes!

Point of interest here, clovers will grow in starved soils as they fix nitrogen for their own use! Daisies and other plants, wild flowers, flower well as they favour soils low in nitrogen to flower. Explanation why the coincidence in flowers!

So far as I know they are unrelated, but it's certainly the time of year for clover to be in full bloom.
