Do you believe in feng shui?

some people do know fengshui, esp those who have taken some lessons from a practitioners or a fengshui master. but for most people who have learned through books, websites and what people have said, then fengshui is a vague cloud of ideas.

if you have learned fengshui from a fengshui master, you will know that the core of fengshui are a group of fengshui formulas or techniques used to measure, analyse situations and apply the techniques to improve a bad fengshui situation. some of the techniques are flying stars, 8 mansions/ ba zhai, water placements, etc.

if you did not learn any of these things, then you did not learn fengshui from a fengshui master, who has years of experience in the field.

...so, are you the "clean up your clutter" kind of feng shui practitioner, or just the "get the energy flowing right" kind of practitioner.

Because there are two kinds you know.

my wife consulted a feng shui practicioner and asked how to get the evil spirits out of our home, and they suggested a divorce. They seem to know what they are talking about.

No, I frankly do not believe in feng shui, or any form of geomancy (earth divination).

It is possible to make a room more comfortable based on how you position furniture, but the whole "negative energy and positive energy" thing is just a sales pitch.

It's a flow or landscaping style to help one feel at peace in their garden or architecture. I didn't know there was a belief to it. Is that true? It's a belief?

mm... kinda. i mean a cluttered space makes me feel stuffy. so i guess a more open, organized space would make me feel better. so its just practicing the art of getting your act togehter. +
