The exact same thing happened to my baby girl when she was about 4 or 5 days old. I called the postpartum unit at my hospital and they told me that it was completely normal, its just a little bruising from birth. But if your still worried give your hospital a call. Hope this helped!! 8)

relax! tale a deep breath and give it some time.
There is a lot going on in her little body. Just wait tell the drs appt and ask her. Just take a deep breath and try to catch a nap if you can. If you daughter is not running a fever and eating ok just relax until her doters appt.

Yes, you should call. Maybe your breast milk is not coming in properly. Are you breastfeeding? If so, you need to call the doctor tomorrow. Since these little angels are new, we don't always know the best way to take care of them. Your child can just need a slight adjustment in her routine of water or milk.

For now the dark circles could be from the following:
- dehydration ( so just continue feeding her or maybe try a little water in a baby bottle)
- loss of sleep ( baggy eyes happen for babies too =)
- her eyes arent quite developed yet
I wouldnt worry about it just remind your doc and tell him abou t the scenario incase it happens again!!
hope i helped =)

Is your baby getting breastmilk or formula? Is she having 6 or more wet diapers/day and 3-4 stools. If you even have to think about this, bring her to the E.R. Now. Change your appt to tomorrow!
