dr's office blew me off?
sorry if this gets long! was supposed to start my period on 7/11. had 3 (very faint) (+) HPT's and 3 (-) HPT's. Yesterday and today I'm spotting a little bit and feel kind of crampy. I called my Dr's office to get a blood test and they said they don't do them until you're 2 weeks past your missed period. if I hadn't seen those faint little lines I wouldn't think anything of it, but the test I took this morning was negative. How do I know if I'm just late because of stress or if I was actually pregnant if they won't test me? And should I be worried about future miscarriages if that's what this is?!?!
Thanks for your input.

I have heard of some women spotting when the egg implants, if its a lot then you are probably starting a little late. Was that your reg dr you called or an ob/gyn. my drs will do wone when I am only about a wk late if that late, if I trulely feel I'm preg. cause they show with in just a few days of the accually conception.

I'm not a big fan of the medical field, just seems like they have so much to deal with that they put patients on the back burner. Anyways, I'm dealing with similar myself. I took a blood test 3 days after my missed period and it came back negative. Only thing is that I've had like 8 positive tests both before and since then (I'm not exaggerating). So maybe it will work out for the best if you wait. But if you don't want to, maybe you could go to a walk in clinic and have them do a blood test on you? That's what I'm thinking of doing! Good Luck!

Most of the time if you miscarry you don't even know you were pregnant - at least this early. If you were pregant - and that's a big IF - and you have alreday miscarried it probably means that the baby would not have made it to full term. Or you could just have made yourself late by stressing over it!
I woudl suggest that you don't worry about it until you have need to. I would suggest that you carry on as normal and if this happens again you do need to give yourself a week or so to get a better result from a home kit.
FYI my doctors didn't bother doing a test after I took 2 at home as they said they are pretty accurate these days. If they are faint I would suggest it's too early to be sure. Mine was big and strong even after drinking about 3 pints of water so I could pee!!!

That is standard for alot of offices. Its very common for a woman to be a few days late, especially due to stress. A 2 week wait policy gives a better chance of you actually needing the blood test. So treat your body as if its pregnant and get the test in 2 weeks. That way you are covered if it is a positive.

It relies upon on the coaching. extra beneficial GP practises would have a wellbeing care assistant try this. although smaller ones would have a coaching nurse. it fairly is often a nurse who has the equivalent point of senior team nurse or sister. yet who has specialized in areas of Generapractisece, wound care and wellbeing advice. even although any nurse could be qualified to take blood rigidity and person-friendly observations. A nurse who has handed theicompetencycassessmentsts for venepuncture (taking blood) is likewise able to take bloods. student nurses shouldn't take blood as competencassessmentsts take various observations to end and time on placement is often no longer long sufficient to bypass.
