Marketing job application?

Is it really necessary to put your picture on a resume for a marketing job, when asked? I believe the company to be reputable and they offer jobs at college campuses all over but I'm funny about my personal pictures/portraits. Not that I'm ugly, b/c I did used to model 2 years ago and get compliments all the time...but....I just don't want to end up on some adult/porn site unbeknown to me...LOL, seriously though, I don't!

There is no reason to submit a photo of yourself unless the job pertqains to your looks (i.e. modeling). If they are asking for you photo, refuse.

Was it a guy or girl who ask for the picture, I would call the company and ask them. It could be legit. Sometimes it is nice to have a face to go with a name, that way if they call you in for an interview as soon as they see you they can say "Mary Welcome to Abc Marketing" instead "How may I help you", which one would make you feel at ease and more relaxed for an interview.
