I keep reading pregnancy questions on here that just gross me out. With graphic descriptions of totally disgusting stuff. Is anyone else out there grossed out too?

All kinds of gross things happen during pregnancy. Ever watched one of those educational childbirth videos they show in parenting classes? Horrible stuff. But it's what you have to go through if you want to have kids. ;) (And the gross stuff doesn't stop at birth by a longshot!)

It sounds like your water has broke! I did the same thing in my first pregnancy, a clear liquid that I couldn't stop from coming out. Had to put a pad on so I didn't ruin my clothes/the car before going to the hospital. My contractions didn't start for about another 30-45 minutes after that. I'd def. go to the hospital and at least get checked out right now, especially if it is your water, things will probably speed up soon!

Well either stop reading them or get over it. Pregnancy and birth can be a great experience but it's not the greatest CLEANEST procedure. Part of life. Broken bones, periods, poop, accidents, decapitations, fights, abuse, etc. If you're that sensitive about it, don't read questions that ask about it or try to avoid this subject altogether. After all, how do YOU think YOU got here??? Magically hatched from an egg? Oh wait, that's gross too!

being pregnant is not always pretty and glowing. your body is doing tremendous things. many first time mommy's have NO idea what to expect or what is happening. the books do not always tell it straight, and if they did,,how many would still WANT to get pregnant. it is all part of life and to ME, some of it was yes "gross" but in the end it is THE MOST beautiful thing in the world.
if you think just READING it is gross,,,cant imagine what you will think when YOUR body does it and you experience it first hand

Once you have a child of your own, there will be very little that can disgust you after wards.
After 3 births and my 4th pregnancy, I'm open to talk about almost anything.
If it really bothers you, just skip the questions that have TMI labled on them. Thats what I do with all of the questions that say "Am I pregnant".

no, to get a right answer you need to be graphic. so many things can be mistaken for pregnancy. but if you know the details its easier to pin point what is going on. i suggest you stop reading the questions if you dont like them

No because sometimes people need to explain things in a more graphic form so we "get the mental picture" of what is happening to them.

Well maybe you shouldn't be on the pregnancy boards if it grosses you out!
If you have had kids, you will know its not a gross thing at all!

no because this is what happens when you are pregnant. If you think it's gross then don't read stuff in this section.
