I wonder why they dont have a plan to help EVERY homeowner. why not make it a mandatory 4% interest,,,no fees for closing or refinancing and make it for everyone. dont just reduce the ones that are in foreclosure,,,help everyone. im keeping my head above water for now,,,but what happens next year,,,or 2 years from now,,,,who will help me then.

seems a smarter plan would be to make it easier to get the lower rates, and make it available to every homeowner. every time i try and do research on refinancing for a lower rate,,,i find all the fees and closing costs associated with it , that i can NOT afford,,and i would NOT want to add them to the new mortgage, kinda defeats the purpose. make it uniform and make it simple. why does it always have to be complicated and hard to figure it out.

Is it just me or does it seem like the only way to get help from this great stimulus package you need to put yourself FURTHER in debt. If you buy a house you get a credit,,,credit for buying a NEW car,,,credit for raking up college debt,,,credit for making my home energy efficient (have you priced new energy furnaces?) If i quit paying my mortgage I can get help. what about if i am BARELY making payments. or the car i drive (with NO payment) drops the transmission. I pay my bills, i scrape borrow and budget. Our head is barely above water, but if we fall under the water they we will get help. seems to me there is a bit of a problem there. and just what does STD prevention do to help me pay my bills and get ahead? what does a new fleet of fancy golf carts for the government do to help me avoid foreclosure?

I guess my question is,,,do i stop paying my bills and wait for help? seems that is the only way you will get it.

13$ tax credit on my paycheck wont even pay for the gas to get to work to pay the taxes in the first place.

What happened to paying your bills, keeping your credit clean. Seems the way to go now is to let the bills go by the wayside and wait for the government to give a handout

I am a full time mother to 10 year old twins and after being in yahoo answers for awhile it starts to make me wonder how my children are still alive. When i was pregnant i ate what i wanted when i wanted it. Was never told to avoid or not eat anything. After my children were born, i was never told to steralize the bottles, nipples etc. I used tap water to make formula. I was a devout powder after every change mom. My children cried in their cribs. I listened to the dr and started cereal and solid food. I immunize my children when the dr tells me too. They watch tv (somedays for hours on end), they have video games and play on the computer. There are days they play outside for hours and take walks around the block and play at the playground. They have been spanked and sometimes a slap on the mouth. The soap is still on the shelf put ready at any time. Some days they eat cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I guess my question is, does any other mother kinda feel bad

I recently bought an old house (at least 100). I have the old lath board and plaster walls. My question is how do i fix or repair them. the corners are falling apart and you can see all the way thru it. someone put the THICK wallpaper stuff on them and painted it. the old wall paper is peeling and cracking, and pulling away from the trim. how do i fill the gaps and cracks around the trim and in the corners?

I found what i think is bug larvae in my flower beds. It looks like a rolled up cigar and is reddish/brown. about an inch long. They are underground and do not move when touched or disturbed. I have looked everywhere for pictures and can not find "my" bug. Thanks
