What are some real punk bands?

Not those fake wannabe punk bands. Can you name a few?

    The Ramones are my favorite.

Philly Flyer, Nirvana was NOT a punk band, nor is Blink 182. I think you need to learn what punk is before you answer questions relating to it.

    Nice question.

    This helped me alot.

    Watch the DVD

    Punks Not Dead.

Its a documentary about when punk first started & how its chnaged & evolved. Its a really good documentary & changed the way i think about music & punk now.

I borrowd it out from the video store.

The cover is a trashy grey/black cover with PuNks Not Dead written in green & like 5 band names writen in pink.

Worth watching. I watched it while i was ironing. =]]
