How many McCain supporters think that global warming is a hoax?

A lot of republicans disbelieve stuff that is true such as evolution and global warming while believing in things that are not such as global warming being a hoax and Adam and Eve.

I don't know anybody who thinks global warming is a hoax. Most science shows we are getting warmer. Where the hoax comes in is when the left and the eco-terrorists push that it is man made, when there is no proof for it. They have been waiting a long time for something they can use like global warming. The earth goes through cycles of warming and cooling trends. But the environmentalists now tell us that soccer moms driving SUV's are causing it due to the carbon dioxide emissions, while these same people insisted 30 years ago we put catalytic converters on our cars so they would only exhaust the "harmless" carbon dioxide and water vapor.

This is why the democrats and Obama will do nothing to try to increase oil production and help us at the pump, because they are in the pocket of the environmentalists, or they have money invested in "green" technologies and are hoping to speed up their return, or both.

I wonder if the rulers during the medieval maxim, where it was up to 8 degrees warmer than current temperatures, ever tried to lie to their subjects and blame them for the warming?

Since the Medieval maxim happened "before" the industrial revolution I guess humans can't be blamed and it must have been some other reason. Suredly a UN climate control member or Al Gore could spin that fact into something bad that people did to make the Sun 700 years ago.

Tell me something--if temperatures 700 years ago were warmer than now how can we blame humans now since the Earth was warmer in the past when human's couldn't have had any affect? Much more reasonable to go with the facts and realize the Earth goes through "natural" deviations.

Since both candidates believe in the global warming hype, it isn't an issue I can use to distinguish between both candidates. So I will pick the one I want based on issues they actually have differing opinions on.

Edit: GETLIKEM, as someone who has been studying the climate and meteorology since the age of EIGHT, I can tell you now - while science hasn't proven that Global Warming is a lie, it hasn't shown beyond a reasonable doubt that it is, in fact, being caused by human activity.

I don't think global warming is a hoax, I just think human beings are powerless to stop it. The Earth has undergone constant change since it was born 4.6 billion years ago.

I don't care for either person, but I'll hold my nose and vote for McCain. As for GW......it's all crap. Uncle Al says the debate is over.....when was this debate because I missed it. You all claim that the ice cap is melting...yes in some areas, but in others it's increasing. You GW fear-mongers pick and choose the facts you want. Uncle Al's movie was mostly computer generated. Don't let any facts get in the way of your opinions!

I don't drink the global warming Kool-Aid. You cannot destroy what you cannot make.

Probably ALL of them can clearly see that something is wrong...but what percentage will face the truth? That's the question.
