How many minutes will it take for Fedor to break Sylvia's arm?
Tim Sylvia is a big, boring, over rated, dufus whose fights are lame as hell. I predict my boy Fedor, will break his arm half way thru the 2nd round.

I also think Silvia will be a good test for Fedor, he has good takedown defense and his reach is problems for everyone.
That being said
3:10 3rd round arm break

Fedor's primary strengths are Sylvia's greatest weaknesses. Sylvia has shown difficulty with strong wrestlers and grapplers.
On the other side, Sylvia's typical gameplan to utilize his reach won't typically be effective against Fedor. Fedor has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to close ground against much larger opponents in his career -- he's faced and beaten much larger opponents than Sylvia.
Sylvia also won't likely be able to utilize his size and strength to clinch, as he did against Vera. Fedor's sambo and judo give him a deep repertoire of throws from the clinch, so if Sylvia attempts to tie up, he's likely to find himself on his back.
I expect this fight to be one-sided. Sylvia is a legitimate opponent and should provide a great measuring stick, but I just don't see any realistic way that this fight ends well for Sylvia, outside of outlying occurrences such as a stoppage due to a cut.
That being said I will say Fedor submits Sylvia by armbar(obviously) middle to late second round.

How is Tim overrated?! He is the most underrated fighter in mma!!
Tim is the biggest threat to Fedors record in years...more so than Big Nog and Cro Cop in my opinion.
Styles make fights.
Tim is much taller and has a huge reach advantage on Fedor, and although Fedor has fought tall fighters in the past (Schilt, Choi etc) he hasnt fought someone like that with great takedown defence.
Now im 100% sure Fedor has the ability to take Tim down in the fight, but im also 100% sure he will have to take some punishment to get in that position (see Tim v Nog)
Now anyone who was watched fedors fights will know he cuts very easy. Matt lindland cut him open with his first punch in bodog. Im sure Tim knows this, and If I were him, I would aim my long jab at Fedors scar tissue above his right eye and try and open him up.
People need to realsie that this fight is SO close, If Fedor manages to get tim down without taking punishment, then I think he will win fairly easy. But after Couture exposed Tim with the inside leg kick+overhead puch, Tim is alot harder to takedown now.
Anyone i who thinks Tim Sylvia is a walk in the park is kidding themselves. If Fedor wins, he would have beaten a TOP mma heavyweight.

I hope the fight goes the distance. It would be great for Tim, because he would prove himself against a fighter who everyone believes is the best. It's good for Fedor, because it will give him exposure to the American fans who haven't had a chance to see what he can do. Plus, Fedor NEEDS to be pushed, or he may actually start to believe his own hype. He's just a man. Not the machine, or the God, that people are making him out to be. I hope that Tim stays behind his Jab, stuffs the takedowns, and grinds out the decision, his way.
