I've played the piano for 7 years ; I recommend a couple of Debussy's pieces. Clair de Lune was a very famous and beautiful piece along with "Girl With the Flaxen Hair" . For something different sounding, try "Golliwog's Cakewalk " it can be a really fun Piece to learn. Mozart can be pretty impressive too; I recommend his Rondo Alla Turca. Antoine Rubinstein is a less known composer . I really like his song "Romance ". Every you look there is great music ; just take the time finding it. Good luck!

Try Mendelson -- very impressive to a listener, yet easy to play (after 9 years of studying) :)) -- any of "Song Without Words" will do.
But generally, Romantics always get you a good credit
If you have a big hand, Rachmaninoff is also an excellent choice -- C# Minor Prelude, for example

I find Chopin's Nocturnes easy to learn but the quick gliss/scales he uses sometimes make them sound impressive. If you look around there are files around with his full works (I think under the creative commons), though if you've been playing 9 years, you've probably played a lot of his pieces!

Mendelssohn scherzos usually offer a lot of bang for the buck. I know the E minor one is really cool:

and there is also a good one in B minor.
They sound much more impressive and difficult than they really are. I've also found this true of a few of Grieg's Lyric Pieces (Homeward, March of the Trolls).

Rondo Alla Turka or Turkish March. The sheet music would be at http://www.docstoc.com/docs/DownloadDoc.aspx?doc_i... but you still have to register, but dont worry, registering is free. A video of it is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juLRqSV45vo also dont go to sheet music usa their version is weird
