  • To all people voting for the lesser of two evils...why?

Congress currently enjoys a 12% approval rating. These are people YOU voted into office. What is the common underlying factor? They're all Democrat or Republican. So why are you going to continue choosing from preselected partisan stooges who don't represent the will of the American people?

To those who are deeply committed to Obama and McCain, this question isn't for you, but rather for the fence sitters.

If you don't like either candidate, why do you reject choosing a third party candidate that better represents your values (the whole point of a "representative" government) instead of betting on the rigged two-horse race? Won't we always have a government that fails to represent us, if we choose candidates based on their chances of winning, rather than what they stand for?

Both Obama and McCain pushed for the bailout, while the majority of Americans were strongly against it. How can so many people still play the lesser-of-two-evils game after such a monumental betrayal of the middle class by both major candidates?

  • What is wrong with my peppers? What disease is this?

I am growing an heirloom pepper in a pot and the plant was doing fabulously. Then all of a sudden, the 2 larger peppers developed these brown rotted spots. This is the 3rd pepper, and now it has developed the same brown rotted spot. The plant itself is doing great and just put out new flowers. Please help ID this disease, and recommend a solution.

  • Why do my fiancee and I wake up every night between 2 and 3 AM?

We moved to a new house 2 weeks ago. Before this, both of us would have variable good/fair nights of sleep, depending on how hard we worked and how much sleep we got. But I would safely say that neither of us had a "sleep disorder" and both of us would usually be able to get back to sleep immediately when we woke up in the night.

Since we have moved to our new house, we fall asleep easily and quickly, but we both find ourselves wide awake between 2-3 AM, and can't get back to sleep for anywhere from 1-2 hours. This even happens on days where we've been exhausted.

We've tried moving the bed to different positions in the room, and still...nothing.

Does anybody have any idea why this could be happening?

  • Why do Obama supporters hate the Constitution?

Bye, bye 4th Amendment. Whoosh, into the garbage can. Obama even voted to silence debate on the FISA bill, all this after he told his supporters (before his nomination) that he would stand with Democrats opposing the bill. How can any informed Obama supporter still support him? Because he's better than McCain...who would have voted the exact same way? Because he's black? Because you're still waiting for him to magically transform into Jesus after he gets elected?

  • What should I do about the sex in our relationship?

I was overseas for 1 1/2 year and returned to find that my and my fiancee's sex life has changed. While we still have sex several times a week, she makes certain joking comments that imply that it is a "duty" for her. These comments bother me. When we do have sex, I try to please her and she gets off maybe 75% of the time. Sometimes the sex is great. I usually go about 20 minutes from first penetration, which she seems to think is too long, but I can't go faster than this, especially as I feel pressure to finish up if she gets off first. I ask her what she wants, but she says that what I'm doing is fine. We've talked about this, and I told her that it seems she's just having sex for me, and she said it's true, and that she has never had a strong sex drive. She assures me that despite the fact she has orgasms, sex just isn't a priority for her. We both love each other deeply, but this lack of feeling wanted sexually really bothers me.

Any women out there have advice?
