UPDATE: Thanks for all the advice. To answer some questions - I'll have maybe 3 drinks in 3-5 hours, and I have tried many different kinds of alcohol (from kahlua to rum to wine) and find the same results. I never mix drinks.

In fact alcohol to the body is poison!! and every body type is different! my mother is a small skinny person and she cant have 1 drink without wobbling!! so you are not alone! your body is not used to it and i know you probably don't want to here this but you should probably not drink at all! but if you want to have the odd social drink just 1 or 2 should be fine you don't need to have more then you can handle!! its good that you stopped binge drinking!! and you should not try to fall into the same habbits again!! your body has been healthy for so long that your immunity to alcohol has suppressed! but the more you drink the more your immunity will build up again!! Hope it works out for you!!!!

    3 drinks in how long?

Have you changed the type of drink?

Has the manufacturer changed the receip of your regular drinks - generally, they are not required to legally tell you.

It sounds as though you may now be allergic to somethng now in what you are drinking, alternatively - your live is shot and you need to see a doctor - the fainting spells due to over heating may be a strong allergic reaction; or again a shot liver.

Better not have even a tipple under the doc clears you - this type of thing is heading towards been toxic to your body. For your own health's sake; check it out with a doctor.

Source(s): that should read 'YOUR LIVER IS SHOT' not your live is shot.

You have a weak stomach and your body is telling you that it is too much. Slow down your pace, don't mix drinks and eat a full meal before any alcohol consumption.

Maybe your body is trying to tell you something, like it does not want it or need it. It's rejecting it for a reason. Listen to your body... it's a powerful tool : )

    what are you drinking??

you could be allergic to alcohol....or your tolerance has lowered...so that now when you drink you get sick faster...
