  • Is there any hope for us? Would I be a bad parent if I walk away from the relationship?

When I got pregnant a few years ago, my bf had a complete breakdown due to the lack of control over the situation. It got pretty bad, he tried to emotionally blackmail me into having an abortion and when that did not work, he made it very clear how he felt about it, to the point of telling me I have ruined his life and made him so miserable he wants to kill himself.

The second the baby was delivered, he was a very good daddy, quite sensitive to the baby's needs, so I have no problems there. But what I have had to fight against is the fact that he treats me completely differently now, he shows no care towards me and will trample over whatever boundaries I put up (if I say please do not say/do this, I can not cope with that right now, the very first thing he will do is exactly that) and I feel like I am being manipulated all the time (if I ask him to get up and take the child to his swimming class, he returns and tell me how hard it was for him to stay awake while driving, so naturally I probably will not ask him again.)

I have brought up the possibility of moving out for a bit and he told me absolutely not as he could not trust me with the kid on my own, which made me feel like I am a bad parent and that he would take my son away from me.

The problem is I doubt myself very easily and he is a good talker so there is always a plausible reason as to why he does what he does.

  • Puppy toileting issues- what am I doing wrong?

We have recently got an 8-week old malamute puppy. He is generally a good puppy and is learning the ropes of living with his people. Unfortunately, the issue is his toilet training. I do not expect him to be completely accident free, nor do I expect him to be anywhere near toilet trained at this age.

However, I find that he pees a lot immediately after I take him outside to relieve himself. He will wait until he is inside to do this. Why is this happening?

Also, I read everywhere that dogs instinctively will not soil their sleeping areas. Not my dog! He has no problems weeing on his own bedding. Why does he do this? Is there something we should be doing differently to stop this behavior?

  • What is the accepted social convention for funerals nowadays?

Do people expect you to wear black still? I seen on the telly that people usually make the grieving family a casserole or something- is that something I should do? Is it expected?

I know I seem a bit dense with this question but I was VERY sheltered from death etc. growing up, so I am not really sure what I am supposed to do.

  • How to become the greatest designer in the world?

I am learning Graphic design (mostly self taught with mentor). I have decided I am going to be the greatest designer in the world- why aim for competent and eventually stop trying to be better, right? Anyway, I practice a lot, read design magazines and books, check out good design online and go to exhibitions as much as possible.

Any suggestions on what else I can do to make myself a better designer?

  • Whats so good about having kids?

I am 27 and have been thinking about this a lot lately. I am in a committed relationship and we both really enjoy being child free. I like having disposable income, no responsibility and having a tidy, quiet home. As much as this suits me and I think I would like to remain child free, I wonder if I would regret it later in life? I don't particuarly like kids but I don't hate them either. How do I know if it the right thing for me?

However, over the last year or so, an emplyee of thiers (they run thier own business) has been getting closer to him and kind of instilling herself in thier lives. She has started doing his hobbies, putting thier baby to bed and playing hostess when wifey is away.
