We are heading to Sydney for New Years Eve..... where is the best places to ring it in?

We would prefer somewhere where we are allowed to drink :)

    Cremorne Point or somewhere on the North Shore with a view so you can watch the fireworkds. Take a picnic with you & some wine, etc, much less crowded & cheaper than drinking in crowded bars.

    Well Sydney has a great fireworks display around Sydney harbour on new years eve. thousands and thousands of people turn out to this event so you have to leave early in the day to get a good viewing spot or some stranger will have the spot you want.
