Windows Live (msn) question?

i am about to use a computer that has msn 8 on it. do you think I should leave it at this version or update to the latest windows live messenger? It has not been updated for a year.

xp pro plenty of ram and processor power, but limited internet access (filtered by company)

    I think updating is a good idea .. many bugs have been fixed in the newer version ( you have to hace SP2)

    There are new features and update/fixes to newer versions. You probably should update it if its been a year.

    attempt restarting your computing gadget then attempt to acquire this equipment lower back. in some circumstances it does acquire yet says it encoutered a difficulty too yet as quickly as you restart your computing gadget, msn shows up. It likes to act like there is an errors with me when I had to acquire it on my new computing device yet I disregarded the message, restarted my computing gadget and it replaced into there. If the undertaking persists, call msn.

    Using Internet Explorer and going anywhere near MSN is inviting spy ware. Don't use either.

    it wouldnt hurt as for spy's you can always get spybot, i have it an have not had any problems on windows live
