Is all meat bought from a butcher organic??

Organic in terms of "Certified Organically Raised"? No, unless it specifies it on the butcher's shop. Look for a green seal from the USDA that says Certified Organic.
Organically raised meat is free from extra hormones and antibiotics, the animals are pasture fed and more "free range",and there is a taste difference as well. It took us awhile to get used to organic hamburger after buying it at grocery stores all the time. It has a stronger taste to it, is leaner and a slightly different color without all the junk added to it, but if it has the same good effects on our body as the organic milk and produce we consume, then its worth it. I have an Amish friend who raises my chicken, and we freeze it. There is no comparison in taste to the crappy store bought ones. I no longer even like to eat those. Often, organic foods are not overly expensive if you buy directly from the farmer or grower, and can be less expensive. Our chickens are $1.00 a pound, and phenomenal. Not one thing is wasted off those chickens....they make the best soups, because the bones are so healthy.
Do an internet search for organic food growers in your area, and chances are, you can hook up with a farmer who will supply you with some great stuff.

Tesco and other major supermarkets sell free-range chicken, which is a good start :) They also sell the free-range eggs :) The best supermarket to get free-range foods is Waitrose, and if you look, it isn't that much more expensive than other supermarkets, so i would definitely check that out!! Also, try and avoid eating meat out, as this is all cheap cruel stuff, especially KFC D: Also, when buying cakes etc., then try and see if they use free range eggs, i know Tesco Finest cakes use free range eggs, it normally says on the ingredients list/packaging. It's great that you care about this type of stuff :)

That is what is wrong with the food freaks assigning that name to to refer to their idea of pure or clean..
Most all steers and others are USDA inspected and graded at the auction yard..and the meat packing plants.

No, it MUST be labelled as organic and must be up to British standards, The soil association mark I think is the standard mark of something being Organic , otherwise meat can contain amounts of all sorts of nasty chemicals which the farming community say are SAFE, but they said DDT was safe and they said Thalidomide was safe along with countless other medications and pesticides , which are said to be safe, but how safe if you are consuming lots of products that contain the substance or a mixture of substances ? we will probably never know the extent to which we are poisoning our bodies with so called EVERYDAY chemicals.

Definitely not. "Organic" is the way the cow was raised, not how it was prepared at the butcher.

No, its only organic if it says so. You are more likely to get some from a supermarket
