Where did my TC Badge go, my BA % is over 12 at all times?

I've been a part of Yahoo Answers since last September, 2007. Not too long after I got a TC badge and I liked it. I lost it, regained it, lost it and regained it and then lost it and never got it back - even though I've had consistent points weekly, except for 2 weeks in June.

Some don't care about the points. I really do, it is fun for me. I like my points and I like the TC badge I used to have and I'm not too proud to say so. This is one of my favorite hobbies and it bothers me that the TC badge is provided and removed capriciously. I assume the moderators could check my stats somehow. It's sort of funny, but I hang between 12 and 13 percent always - its never been more or less!

Update:

I don't think I just have to have this at all times - but I just think we should have it provided consistently - whatever the standard for attaining a badge is - just keep it the same across the board for all.

Update 2:

Well, the only thing I know I do lack is that I don't ask many questions. Maybe that is why I'm not a TC anymore. I just got bummed because I held it for along time and then never got it again, even if my stats looked good enough. Sigh... =)

Update 3:

Thanks Badhabyt, I appreciate the input.

I've asked this same question over and over since I've started with Q&A. I've always ask where TC's get the tops that they contribute and how high they have to stack them to get to each level. Those who get it tell me they have no idea.

Seriously, Leslie, at least you got an answer that sounds like it's from Yahoo. Of course, the answers I got were mostly jokes, but they all thought it didn't matter.

I agree with you that it would be nice to have. I personally, always peek into their bio to see why someone has a TC badge. So I guess it definitely is an attention getter.

There are three factors believed to influence the TC. Number of best answers recently, % BA recently, total points recently, all in a particular category. So you may have kept your %, but you may have not answered enough in the previous week. Noone knows the exact formula, so just get busy and get it back next week.
