anyone ever heard of this name??

pascale? ive never heard this name before! i was talking to a mother in the grocery store and her baby was 6 months old and i had asked the babys name and she said it was pascale! has anyone ever heard this name before?? its sure different! im just curious!! i love coming on and helping with baby names and was just wondering what you guys thought of this name!!

    Yeah im sure its the surname of some famous scientist. Its an awful first name. I really hope the baby wasnt a girl because it doesnt even sound feminine.

    Yes in primary school there was a boy in my class called Pascal. And here in New Zealand we have a really popular show called Outrageous Fortune and one of the main female characters is called Pascalle.

    I think it's quite cute and sweet, but unfortunately here in New Zealand the main brand of sweets happens to be called Pascall's so it automatically gets associated with that.

    It's French and actually very common, the male version is spelled Pascal without the e on the end

    Blaise Pascal was a famous mathematician and physical scientist. Perhaps the child's parents are really into math and science.

    Yes, it's usually a feminine form of Pascal, and not uncommon in France, Spain (as Pascual), and Italy (as Pasquale). It's meaning is "child of Easter," which is known as Pascal in those countries.

    Pascale is really nice.Its original and unique without being too wayy out there.I have never met anyone with this name.Its real nice.

    pascale! its not a name , but it can a nick name and may be the mother love her baby toooooooooooooooooo much , all the do that so they call their babys in diffrent and way

    Saw a version of this name in one of my school textbooks....I think it was the name of a famous French mathematician or scientist...can't remember
