Congress should be held responsible for our present state?

Yes. Democrat or Republican you can lay ALL the problems this country has at the feet of Congress. What is more amazing is probably 95% of those who run for re-election will be sent back to Washington DC instead of sent packing. Congress has a single digit approval rating. Why will we be sending these guys back?

The budget is 3 trillion dollars. That's approximatly $10K for every man, woman, and child, legal or illegal living in the USA. And ONE of the current candidates thinks we need to raise taxes. Do you think that is right?

Thank God someone else can see beyond media influenced hate of George Bush and put the majority of the blame where it belongs. I will not be voting for any incumbent Senator or Representative from my state when their time for re-election comes.
