Custom made dress??? (10 pts)?

Question

Heey i was getting my dress custom made for a school dance in January. Does anyone have any suggestions??? colors, designs, etc. This is semi formal and I want the legth to be around my knees. 10 pts to the most creative/ best idea. It would also be nice if you could include pics!

You could look in fashion mags to get an idea of what you're looking for.  You could also try patterns books like Vogue or Simplicity , at a sewing store that way whoever is making your dress just purchase the pattern instead of drafting one from scratch.

Try different Quinceanera sites.  We jsut celebrated my daughter's 15th birthday and everyone raved about her dress.  It was a salmon pink (not the 'regular' pink).  Then, have your seamstress modify the design to tone it down, with how long you want it, etc.
