after coming of BCP's.....?
Has anyone miscarried very early after coming off birth control? i stopped taking the pill in April and got pregnant in June, but miscarried right away at just a day or 2 over 4 weeks. (dr. said not technically a miscarriage cuz the embryo never implanted, but I took a test cuz I suspected and my HCG level was 7). just wondering why this happened, even tho I'll probably never know. :(
thanks

Most miscarriages are due to the egg not being fully developed or healthy. You can't blame yourself or getting pregnant too soon after going off BCPs. That was one of my biggest fears too. But if the egg is not going to create a healthy child, it usually ends up as a chemical pregnancy, which is what you had.

i got pregnant this month while on BCP's and continued to take them throughout the month without realizing that i had conceived...it was a complete shock...im 6 weeks pregnant now and all seems well. i wouldn't blame the bcp's too much. maybe the new embryo wasn't viable for some reason. im sorry for your loss
