How long did it take for your pregnancy test to show up positive?

I have low hormones and don't show on home tests..blood only until later in pregnancy.

A HPT should show up by 5 weeks.

Blood by 4 weeks.

both as early as 3 weeks if the hormones are strong.

I was 24-26 weeks with my first when I found out...irregular periods no symptoms no weight gain.

I was 8 weeks 5 days when i got the for sure from my doc with baby two, but felt different at about 6 weeks.

It was positive the first time I took a test...because I waited until I'd missed my period. I don't think I even took a test with my son. Either you're pregnant or you aren't - why swell the profits of the test manufacturers? It doesn't make a blind bit of difference whether you know at 4 weeks or 6.

It took me less than 2 weeks to find out that I was pregnant with an inexpensive home test, But I went to the hospital just to confirm what the test stated by a blood test. Good luck.

Mine showed up within 10secs as a positive with all 3 pregnancies. I was about 5 weeks along with all of them

The first day of missing a period my test came out positive.

I took a dollar store brand test when I was 8 days late and it came up positive!

I found out 2 days before my period, but it was an early testing kit and my moods were the strongest signs anyway.

I was just 4 weeks.

I had a very faint positive result 5 days before my period was supposed to show up. (Used FIRST RESPONSE 5 DAYS EARLIER brand).

i got my positive result on the day my next period was due and the next day i visited my gp to have a blood test done just to confirm it.

it took me 2 weeks!! lol i was trying for a baby and when my period was late i did a test straight away..but it was negative..after 2 weeks a took another one and...ta da!! baby on the way!!
