Seniors- Do you remember?

I watched "Topper" when I was a young girl & I loved it.

The cast of the show was: (1953-55)

Leo G. Carroll.....Cosmo Topper

Anne Jeffreys......Marion Kerby (a ghost)

Rbert Sterling......George Kerby( a ghost & husband of Marion, both on the show & in real life)

**Plot: This show was about a somewhat grumpy & uptight banker, Cosmo Topper & the two ghosts that only "he" could hear & see. George & Marion Kerby, tryed to get Topper to loosen up & enjoy life, but more often, they made his life more complicated.**

I loved that show. We have the movie in black and white, with

the other actor, whos' name I can't think of now. And the plot

has to do with how the Kirby's became ghosts and pester,

the Topper character. I loved the TV series which had a

different actor in the title roll, and Robert Sterling and Anne

Jeffries co starring. I had such a crush on him when I was

young. And how I wished I could have looked like Anne. I don't

recall seeing them in other shows other than Topper. Even

as a young girl, I really loved that show. And I'd love to see

all of the episodes all over again.

I loved the topper television program and the original movies. This question brought back memories of seeing the first Topper movie starring Cary Grant at my high school. We were treated to movies in our auditorium sometimes and this is one that I remember best.

Yes I do. If I recall correctly the female ghost was named Mariam. I don't remember the male ghost's name, guess I need to go to IMDb an look it up, or I'll never get any sleep. LOL

It seems that the couple was always getting Topper to do something he didn't want to and embarrassing situations.

Yes - the woman was played by Ann Jeffries and I believe the man was Howard Duff. Old Topper's name in the movie was Cosmo, but I have forgotten who played the part. One of our local weatherman was named 'Topper' Schutte because his mother liked the show/movie that much.

I loved Topper...the movies and the TV series. It shows up on AMC every now and again.

I remember there were several Topper movies with Cary Grant, but I didn't realize there was also a tv series.

Great show. Poor Topper, everyone thought he was a drunk, alway talking to himself

I remember Topper very well , It was one of my favorites. Don't forget their Dog , Neil, The alcoholic St. Bernard.

I loved that show! I really liked Neal the Martini drinking dog. The movies were terrific too.
