how can people compare Lincoln, and Kennedy to Obama?

(lincoln) He served four successive terms in the Illinois House of Representatives as a representative from Sangamon County, and became a leader of the Illinois Whig party.

Obama only got elected because he was the only one on the ballot!

Kennedy represented the state of Massachusetts in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1947 to 1953 as a Democrat, and in the U.S. Senate from 1953 until 1960.

but Obama has only 143 days in congress before he dicided he was going to run for office!

so how can anyone compare the 3?

Lincoln did a great thing for African Americans, JFK did a great thing for African Americans, and now they are using that comparison to appeal to.... the African Americans.

Geez, don't be so dense. They compare him to those two figures because many people (maybe not YOU) feel that he is an inspirational figure, just like Lincoln was/is and Kennedy was/is.
