Usually finding the personality of the cat is the easiest way to find a name for him.
Car names, names of favorite bands or songs or lyrics, Movie characters with the same personalities. Names from greek mythology or spinoffs on human names are always good too.
Spend some time with and watching the cat, it will come. I did the same thing with my first cat, we were watching some car racing on tv and when the Monte Carlo won he went up on his hind legs and meowed at the tv, His name is now Monte-carlo, Nickname Monty :)

Do you have to change his name as I assume he already has one with his present owners that he probably responds to.
I don't see how we on Answers can answer your question when you obviously can see the cat and get to know what sort of character he has. You will find a name to suit him yourself I am sure.
