I can't remember if I ate at the Grill or the Tolteca in Newark, DE. Cheesecake filling in a crispy covering...with whipped cream.....can't remember the name....started with an X

I think you might describing "fried cheesecake." What I have had before is cheese cake rolled in a tortilla and deep fried. I can't think of anything that starts with an X. It may have just been a name the restaurant made up for their concoction. It also does not sound like a traditional mexican dessert.
