anybody else having trouble w/ Q&A? Every question in every catagory is 20 (twenty) hrs. old. I can answer?

Yup, Yahoo Answers seems to have come to a total halt, except the home page. That is the only place where new questions are appearing. You can also search by going through your contacts and find out if they have any questions. And when you go into a certain category and refresh, you will not be able to see new questions either.

It has been going for hours upon hours and still no word on what is wrong or when it will be back up and running.

Same thing occured a couple of weeks ago, I believe this the either the forth or fifth time already, but the longest. Last time, it took about 4-8 hours but this one is in the record books for sure.

As for violations, it depends on the severity of it. Also there is no benchmark used to it is quite ambiguous. Just think that you are in on borrowed time. Becareful and Good Luck!

Hit Home at the top of your page. It's the only way you can get anything current. Y/A is frozen. I thought my account was suspended too because I had a violation today, a wrongful violation and I appealed it. Then I came on here and thought, "My goose is cooked."

Do not fret :) Yahoo Answers is probably working on fixing this glitch as we speak and pretty soon, they will become unfrozen.

They were just taking what I like to call a very, very, very long coffee break. This has happened in the past, and it is NOT normal activity for Y!A. New questions should be appearing now.

It should be fixed now.

Y!A is having a glitch right now. The only new questions you can see are on the homepage if you keep refreshing it. Since today's Sunday, I don't think Yahoo's going to fix the problem until tomorrow.

i'm having the same problem, and a lot of other people have mentioned it. it's not just you, it's everyone in Answers. i think yahoo is trying to fix it, but they're taking forever (20 hours?!).

so hang in there.

For now, the only way to see new questions is from the homepage.

i know, i hang out in the wrestlign section and there are no open answers and every time i click a question, it says thye cant navigate to that page.....
