From what I see here the simple answer is "not really". As I experience it in the "real" world, the answer is very much the same.
There are some who claim tolerance, but only if we Christians would just behave ourselves and let the non-believers go about their merry way.
Scripture points out that we will be hated because Christ is hated. So be it. There is nothing which will separate us from His love. And since it is God who is the judge, then it is His acceptance which I aim for.

I am going to take this as unbelievers in Christianity...
I believer there was a man named Jesus, but he is not a God.
I don't follow the Christian God either...
I can tolerate followers of Christianity to a point, I have some friends who are Christian...
I can't stand when they start getting all "repent or you are going to hell" and forcing it on me, or stuff like that....its ignorant of them and makes a bad name on other people in the religion.

Answer: I have never had any problem tolerating my family's belief in Jesus even though I worship the Greek Gods.

Chieko, yes there is always a choice.
Certainly - I tolerate everyone - unless and until they get nasty with me about something undeservedly, or about a topic that's none of their business - including religion.
Then I CHOOSE not to be around them as soon as I can possibly get away from them.

Of course we can. Most of the believers can't seem to tolerate us non-believers.
If you want to spend your time praying to a mythical being, it's no skin off my knees. Just leave me alone and don't try to shove your religiosity down my throat.

It's the believers who lack tolerance towards everyone else who don't espouse the same belief.

Yeah as long as they leave me alone and let me be. And don't try and push god or their religion on me.

not the ones that try to force me to be Cristian or tell me to go to hell for my non christian beliefs
