4 WEEKS to lose some weight!!!?
I go on holiday in a month and really want to lose a few extra pounds (mainly on my stomach)
I am a size 10-12 but just have a bit of a wobbly belly which i want to tone up. I am doing the secial K diet at the moment and it seems to be working, i just want some advice on what excercises i should be doing to try and tone up my stomach. I currently do 100 crunches a day and 50 sit ups.
I am 5.5" and weight 10st 6lbs - i am hoping to get down to about 10 stone before i go away.

I find sooo many questions exactley the same to this one. Its very common in this day and age to want to be slimmer due to the images of magazines and celebrities. But if you want to loose some weight thats fine by me, as long as you do it safely...
Okay i stuck to this diet plan and lost lodes of weight in ONE MONTH. and i feel a lot fitter and healthier now.
Every morning do 50 sit ups. Then 100 star jumps.
If you have time go for a 30 minute jog, or just jogg to the grocers/shops instead of driving.
Cycling is very good for the thighs, stomach, calfes. so if you have spare time on weekends do some of that.
And 100 crunches
Then in evening before you go to bed do another 50 sit ups. and 100 star jumps.
Eating is also very important for loosing weight, becuase it wont count if you do lodes of exercise if you are eating lots of fatty foods.
Try eating small dinners, and not late at night. Becuase normally after dinner you dont do enough physical activity to burn off the energy it accumulates into fat.
Big breakfasts are fine, but i recomend these meals:
-one bowl of kellogs with milk & a glass of fruit juice= 150 calories more or less.
-choppes fresh fruit with yogurt and maybe a drizzle of honey & some juice= about 200 calories.
Try not to eat inbetween meals, but you are really hungry eat fruit or a small sanwich.

Is your goal to lose weight fast so you make a good impression, or to make a lasting difference in your figure? If the former, go for a fad diet two weeks before he shows up, you can easily drop 10-20 lbs and be done. If the latter, you'll need to change the way you think about eating and exercise. There's no way anyone can give you a comprehensive answer on here, but here are my suggestions: - Instead of "dieting", start changing your intake in small ways – opting for healthier, more natural and nutritional alternatives. - Don't go cold turkey on anything, just treat things like burgers and fries as an infrequent treat rather than a staple. - Eat calorie-heavy items earlier in the day and calorie-light items at the end of the day. - Don't try to starve yourself skinny. If you wait too long before eating your body will store energy rather than consuming it, adding to your problem. - Exercise regularly. If you have an injury, keep working on rehab and look for low-impact exercises in the meantime. - Don't opt for a strict cardio workout, but balance cardio and resistance training. - Don't limit yourself to butt/thigh/core exercises just because those are the areas you're focused on. You need to work on the whole body, including those areas, if you want to see results. - Start educating yourself about improving your lifestyle, if you're serious. There is a bevy of information available online for you to get started with.

Doing crunches and sit-ups alone will not gonna help.You have to lose belly fat in order to develop visible abs.Add some cardio to your schedule.Do atleast 30 minutes cardio everyday and don't starve yourself.Take 5-6 small meals with carb,protein,fat(1:2:1).Cut sdown junk food and sugary stuff.I prefer high intensity interval training because it burn more calories in less time.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Running regularly will help and also get you fit
try to run 3-4 times a week and eat healthy

Cut off sweets, junk food and fatty food. Drink plenty of water, about 2 litres each day and also drink 3 cups of green tea everyday, it will boost up your metabolism and your body will burn more calories and fat. And also don`t forget to exercise, 30-60 minutes a day, particulary cardio.

you dnt need to lose any weight at all you are a perfect weight lets face it, all us women have some belly fat its all part of being a woman stop dieting and enjoy your holiday
