Cancer is an umbrella term for a group of over 200 diseases which happen when normal cells change so that they grow in an uncontrolled way - normal cells mutate and lose their ability to stop growing, replicating indefinitely if not treated.

The uncontrolled growth causes a tumour to form.

Nobody knows what causes this uncontrolled growth to happen.

Well, to explain it, I have to give you a little background first, okay?

Cells in your body, when they divide to create new cells, are supposed to be identical to the old cells. The genetic information is copied exactly (or so is the hope), and the two new cells should both be identical to the old ones.

However, sometimes, a problem arises when the cells split- the genetic information has been messed up, and the cell has a problem. Usually, this isn't a big deal- our body has billions and billions of cells, one doesn't make a big difference. But there's one kind of mutation that can be deadly. When the gene in the cell for multiplication messes up, the cell can be caused to think that it has to multiply as fast and as frequently as it can. When this happens, the new, useless, rapidly-multiplying cells take over the organ that they were in, because there's just so many of them. Eventually, these cells can spread to other parts of your body.

That's why cancer is recurring. If all the cancerous cells aren't removed, they just multiply again and again and start the problem all over.

you need to specify what type of cancer /.-------

Cancer was a British death metal band which released three steady, mid-paced, typical death metal albums. After the ill-received fourth titled Black Faith, the band split up. In 2003, it reunited and released an EP in 2004 followed by a new album entitled Spirit in Flames in 2005. In 2006, the band split up again. The same year a new band was founded under the name Hail of Fire, featuring four ex-Cancer members and a new singer. -------------

Cancer is something that can attack the blood cells and only the blood cells( as in leukemia, lymphoma, etc.), ot it can attack any part of the body such as breast cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer,etc.. The cancer cells also just start growing within themselves and this is when brain tumors or tumors hit other parts of the body. I hope that I and the others have helped you in some way.

If I remember correctly, according to Antoine Bechamp and other researchers, cancerous cells are just regular cells, but in a stage of ill-health. They are not invading cells. They are not a virus. It is not a cell mutation. They are sick and dying cells. Cancer is not localized to one area, it is everywhere in the body all at once. Like mould in bread, it is unseen until it breaks the surface or forms a concentrated area, perhaps in an area of damage, such as a broken bone or injury, or an infected organ etc.
