Will I lose my email if YAHOO is taken over?

With all this Carl Icon and Microsoft and so forth, it is not looking good for yahoo. I have had a yahoo email forever. My only one. Will I lose it?

    I think it's about 99.9999% safe to say that you would not lose your email address because of that.

    Even if Yahoo was purchased or taken over. It would be counter-productive of the purchaser to spend a fortune buying the company and then once bought it for big bucks loose their money by devaluing the services to such a high degree.

    Your Yahoo email address wouldn't be adversely affected by a takeover.

    If a company ever takes over Yahoo they will not get rid of Yahoo mail addresses. There are 250 million Yahoo users in the world. There is no way to ever reassign the email accounts.
