We found them a year after moving in during the swarm season. We called an inspector who said they had been there for at least 6 or more years. We bought the house last year. The inspection company said they would pay the cost of the inspection as goodwill. Then they wanted me to sign my life away to the extent that if my house fell down they are not liable. Drilling off all of our coastline? A thinking leader should consider alternative options. I see nothing but greed in this plan. As our communities are destroyed, oil prices won't decrease in price. The oil companies will keep getting richer.

We have lived and owned property in 3 states in the past 5 years. We are now trying to return to Rhode Island. What we sold in New Mexico, Arizona, and Florida were beautiful 2000 sq ft properties..new..big master with private bath..etc for low 200000.00 ranges. In Rhode Island we are looking all over and finding few similar homes exist. Old 700 sq ft junkers in bad areas are more than our beautiful homes elsewhere. As much as I would like to be near the grandkids...I am fearing we can not afford to live our lifestyle here.
Will prices drop? To get what we want here is about 375000.00.

We are trying to use the space heater as much as possible . We have one in the living room and one in the bedroom.
How safe are they? I am afraid a fan will stop and cause a fire or something.
