I am now asked for my email password everytime I try to hit send or click on something in email. What is wrong

the same thing is happening to me. I can't send any email, and any time I try to clean out my spam folder, it asks me to log in. I've logged in no less than 6 times already. I pay for yahoo plus and it seems the service gets worse and worse, especially since they forced us to take the new "my yahoo" home page.

It appears that others been having similar problems with different browsers (I'm using Internet Explorer and have been having troubles since last night) based on other posted questions. It's really frustrating when you have an email all typed up and ready to send and then it makes you log in again...without saving the email (except rarely when the auto-saver makes a draft).

Until this is cleared up, I guess I'll just copy my work to the clipboard before sending...so I can go back and try it again if it errs out.

This has been happening to me and it's driving me crazy. I, too, have had yahoo for years. I delete something, have to login again, and then go back and delete again. It just happened three times in a row. I can't count how many times I have logged in today. I agree. It's very frustrating.

may be you forgot your password or some problem with the account.

put your email and click on forgot password then after some pages you will get your new password on your another email.
