How to decorate for a bridal shower?

I am decorating for a bridal shower at a church, and the bride's colors and lime green and blue. (I don't know what shade of blue...just blue!) What would be a good and easy way to decorate?

For my shower we just did basic white table clothes, flowers in the middle in dollar store vases (so cute; we used daisies since I was using them in the wedding), balloons in my colors behind the head table. We also gave a little gift to everyone and used little bags and ribbon in my colors...

I agree with the household items. That way it is items that the bride can use at home. My sister in law did this for a wedding and she had a apron made for the bride that had a cute saying on it. I think it is better to have stuff that the bride can use rather than wasting money on stuff that is going to either get thrown away or is considered junk.

You can get fairly inexpensive kitchen items at the wal-mart and even try the dollar store because a lot of those have things that come in handy!

I went to a shower once and all the tables had household goods as the centerpieces and then at the end of the shower, the bride took them home. This is a good way to help a new couple get started and they usually love it.

you're giving your self a bathtub? omit Manners could be appalled. The host is in fee of the bathe, no longer the customer of Honor. Your activity is (a million) to be thrilled and grateful for despite the host is form sufficient to grant, and (2) deliver handwritten very own (no longer commercially preprinted) thank you notes or letters to surely everyone who factors a modern.

ask the church what kind of decorations you can use..paper items for the table is nice and you don't have to attach anything on the table

Hire someone else to do it. That's what I always do.
