  • Sanitary blindfold for pin the tail on the donkey?

I am a second grade teacher and want to play "pin the tail on the reindeer" at our Christmas party in a few weeks. I'm a little afraid of how to do the blindfolding, since I have 20 kids and parents are always freaked out about lice. Any suggestions?

  • Is it safe to stop birth control?

I have been on BC for about 2-3 years to slow down my heavy periods. It has worked. However, I am wanting to get off of the pill to see whether or nto I need it anymore to regulate this. It would save me money to get off of it. Should it be safe for me to stay off of it now?

  • Bought a used Blackberry Bold 9000. Software?

I bought this off Ebay and it's worked fine except I guess the person who had it before me used it for business and the password is locked on there and I have to enter it every 2 minutes. ANYWAY, I want to start uploading pictures and music. Am I allowed to legally download the free software from the website, even though I'm not the original owner of the phone?

  • How should I purchase an extended warranty for laptop?

I am about to purchase a Dell laptop from Walmart.com. It has a 1 year warranty with no options of an extended warranty. I've heard to never buy an extended warranty from Walmart anyway.

Where would be a good place to buy an extended warranty from? Square Trade? Any suggestions?

  • Constipation with no relief...help?

This happened to me about 2 years ago and has now reoccurred. I've never had very regular bowel movements (maybe once a week max?) but lately, I can tell that I am very stopped up. Sunday around noon, I took three laxatives (the max I was able to take). I also drank about 4 oz. of magnesium citrate. Woke up Monday-nothing had happened.

Monday, I drank the rest of the bottle of MC (6 oz.) and walked and cycled 18 miles and ate a lot of fruit. I had one lousy (small) bowel movement that was extremely hard to get out. (My rectum was bleeding for awhile).

I am still in discomfort and nothing is happening. What do I do to cleanse myself?

  • What do I get my international roommate for Christmas?

I have only had her as a roommate for a few months. She is in the ESL program at our university and is not fluent in English yet. I don't know anything about her-but she got me a nice gift from Taiwan and I really want to get her something nice that she'd enjoy. Any ideas??

  • Very General Wireless Mouse Question...?

Okay, so my friend has a Sony Vaio laptop and I want to get her a wireless mouse for Christmas. However, they are VERY pricey! So, I guess my question is--do I HAVE to buy a Sony Vaio wireless mouse to work with her laptop? Or is there some sort of generic wireless mouse that is compatible?

  • What is my teacher asking me?

I have to do a discussion board for my education class. It is a class that has to do with integrating technology into the curriculum. I don't understand this last part of the question:

How has the Internet changed your concept of information within the context of teaching?

    What does that mean?

  • New laptop...how do I get internet onto it?

My friend has bought her daughter a laptop for college. This friend is completely computer-dumb, and I know a little bit about computers, so I am trying to help her with all of this.

With a new laptop with a wireless card in it, how do I hook them up to the internet? They already have internet through a company called Suddenlink connected to their desktop.

Do I need to buy a wireless router, like linksys or something?

If possible, please dumb the process down for me...I know some about computers, but not a lot.

  • Lost my birth control!?

I think I accidentally threw my birth control away. I take it for heavy periods. I think I had about a week left. The trash man has already come and gone, so if it's in there...it's gone for good. What do I do? I just know without it I'm going to break out even worse than normal and my period will be heavy like it was two years ago...what do I do?

  • Ideas for a fall bridal shower?

I have to help throw a bridal shower for a friend later this month...and we just got done throwing one this summer, and my pocketbook is empty now! We want to do a fall theme, but want to keep it simple and inexpensive. Any ideas for decorations, games, etc? We're doing it at a church where we have access to a lot of tables, chairs, platters, etc.

  • Printing picture for mom's birthday?

We took some family pictures when my grandparents were here last week, and my mom's birthday is tomorrow. I know this is last minute (which is my fault-crazy life of a busy college student), but I wanted to print one of the family pictures (we took the pics with a digital camera) and frame it for her. What would be the best way to do this? Go to the Walmart kiosk? Do it from walmart.com? And what size do you think would be good? And frame? I was thinking an 8x10 or so?

Thanks! Remember, this has to be done by sometime tomorrow!

  • How to tell my roommates without hurting feelings?

My roommate and I have just moved back to college and have two new suitemates. So far, there have been no problems...we all just kind of do our own thing. However, we share a kitchen, and my roommate and I don't use it, but the other two girls do. For about a week now, there have been empty jars and utensils filling up our sink, and it's starting to smell. We barely know these girls and don't want to start anything or want them to think we're mad at them...but what is a good way to let them know that they need to wash their dishes?

Me, being the kind of person I am, wants to just wash them for them and see if they get the picture. But if I did that, they might expect me to do it every time, when none of it is my dishes. What do we do without hurting feelings and making things awkward?

  • Will my hair poof like this?

I've been trying to learn how to do that little poof in the front of my hair that is popular these days. My sister has done it on me several times, but now I'm back at college and need to do it myself. I've watched some videos on how to do it (I'm not good with hair) and have got everything...except I don't know how to use the stupid bobby pins. I can't hold my hair securely AND put the bobby pins in. So, my question is:

Can I secure the front part of my hair with a small elastic band and then poof it up and secure it with the bobby pins? Will it still work?

  • What kind of hairspray should I use to keep my hair straight all day?

I guess my hair is a little naturally wavy, but I straighten it every morning, and it looks real good until I get out the door and walk in this Southern humidity! The parts near my face get curly and it looks like poo by the end of the day. Is there a hairspray or something I can use to keep my hair straight all day, but won't make my hair stiff?

  • Will this bedspread look okay with my carpet?

I just got this area rug from Home Depot for my new dorm room this upcoming semester: http://www.homedepot.ca/wcsstore/HomeDepotCanada/i...

I'm awful with color coordinating, but know that my brown and pink polka dotted bedspread will not look good with this new arrangement. I've been searching online for new bedspreads...would this look okay with my carpet?

    http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_...

If not, can you suggest some colors? Thank you SO much!
