Will my hair poof like this?
I've been trying to learn how to do that little poof in the front of my hair that is popular these days. My sister has done it on me several times, but now I'm back at college and need to do it myself. I've watched some videos on how to do it (I'm not good with hair) and have got everything...except I don't know how to use the stupid bobby pins. I can't hold my hair securely AND put the bobby pins in. So, my question is:
Can I secure the front part of my hair with a small elastic band and then poof it up and secure it with the bobby pins? Will it still work?

yaaa!!! you can definitly do that....wat i do is use a black little elastic band or clear if your hair isnt a dark color and i grab the piece of hair in front of my head that i want to create the poof with then i tie it like a pony tail but tie it like an inch or two behind your forhead then flip the pony tail forward so its in your face and put a spray of hair spray on it then flip it back and grab the pony tail and push it forward and pin it with bobby pins....it may kinda sound confusing but once you get the hang of it you can do it in like 2-3 mins!!!!! hope dis helps!!! good luck =)

i don't know how to use the bobbypins either i just use clips they seem to work for me just fine both types of clips too so try those and i think the look better anyways
