I have learned how many routes you can take to get to Washington state and the name of someone very special.

Who BrokeNCYDE is. I found out that metal has a ridiculous amount of sub-genres. I already knew most people who like "screamo" think that bands like ADTR are screamo. I think I have become more open-minded to music since joining. Which is great! I have gotten some great recommendations. I have never met elitists before going on this site. However, I still have yet to learn why Y!A put Rock & Pop in the same category. Maybe I should ask a question about it!!! There are a lot more youth who listen to older stuff, and appreciate music, than I thought. Also, that I'm the only one who knows the band Ludo.

Well I believe the most 'interesting' thing I have learned is not

to take every contributor at face value. As not everyone is

as honorable as you might assume. In that, there are those

who double their pleasure in game playing. Playing games

with other peoples' minds, to the extent of being hurtful, and

insulting, and at times, incorrigible. But I think everyone who

posts comments at this site has discovered that for them-

    selves.

I would like to see a return to normalcy, in that learning or

helping another is the priority. And there is much to be learn-

ed from those who come here. Sometimes it can be some-

thing insignificant to everyone else, but you. Most of us

contribute in a positive way, with that goal in mind, or merely

sharing our opinion if asked. It gives us a means to pass the

time, or with some, it is their only means of enjoying ourselves

daily. It's an outlet that was badly needed and it answers the

needs for many. Despite the periodic glitches and disrup-

tions, it serves me as an interesting pastime. And I'm rather

addicted now. But I don't think I'm alone in that.

I have learned some interesting facts and made some great friends, but the thing I really learned the most is that the Internet is just full of weirdos!!! Quite a few of them like to come to this site to bother everyone. I don't let any of them bother me, I just laugh at them.

I love to read what all of you write and I have learned so many things that I don't know where to begin. I have learned that I am so much better off than so many other people my age. I have learned that some of you are better off than me. I have learned that even though we are seniors, we still like to have fun, joke, laugh, cry, love, have sex, try something new, we all need some one in our life that loves us and no matter how much the world changes around us, we all still have memories of how it use to be. I cherish each and every one if you. God bless you all and if I offend anyone by saying that I am so sorry.

That there are 1000's out there who are as wierd as I am...very comforting, for there is safety in numbers! I have also learned that there are those who are much bigger liars than I ever imagined possible. Overall, an interesting place to waste some time occasionally, but not a life style, that's for sure!

Strangely - I have found for the first time what comfort there is in 'speaking' with people of ones own age group.

We all have very similar experiences - as Diana says - we have about a 30 years age range - but we all remember the same things ............ some pretty amazing stuff was either instigated by our age group - or we lived with the fall out or repurcussions and it and it has made us what we are today.

I have loved finding out more about the American people - I have learnt more about them then 50 odd years on this planet had taught me - now THAT really is amazing!

I have found out that they are just the same as me - same concerns, same passions, same level of tolerance to a lot of things . ....... again - as someone else has said - it really is a small world !

Excellent question - really made me think!

    Grab a star!

I've learned that a few nice people really do exist. Otherwise, most of them are nasty pigs who like to send vile emails to women. It's a good thing I don't judge all men by a few bad ones, or I might go on a rampage! I've learned not to hate everyone when one of their kind lashes out at me for no good reason. I can walk away.

The thing I've learned is how loving, giving, tender-hearted, helpful, compassionate, and sometimes naive seniors are. You see so much in the media about how the younger generation is going to hell in a hand-basket, so it's nice to see that the older folks keep things balanced. I wonder if it's always been this way...

We are all so different, yet, so much the same. When I ask a question that I need real help with, I can depend on the Senior section to answer me truthfully. I 'm very thankful for that!
