God is our father and Jesus is our brother. They are one and the same in Spirit. Jesus was spiritually enlightened enough to know God's mind. They were of the same spirit, but they were not the same being. God is God and Jesus was the son of God.

Does the Bible contain errors, contradictions, or discrepancies?"

Answer: We often receive questions along the lines of “Explain how these verses do not contradict!” or “Look, here is an error in the Bible!” Admittedly, some of the things people bring up are difficult to answer. However, there are viable and intellectually plausible answers to every supposed Bible contradiction and error. There are books and websites available that list “all the errors in the Bible.” Most people simply get their ammunition from these places – they do not find supposed errors on their own. There are also books and websites available that refute each and every last one of these supposed errors. The saddest thing is that most people who attack the Bible are not truly interested in an answer – all they want to do is attack. Many "Bible attackers" are even aware of the answers, but they continue to use the same old shallow attacks again and again.

If you read the Bible, at face value, without a preconceived bias for finding errors – you will find it to be a coherent, consistent, and relatively easy-to-understand book. Yes, there are difficult passages. Yes, there are verses that appear to contradict each other. We must remember that the Bible was written by approximately 40 different authors over a period of around 1500 years. Each writer wrote from a different perspective, to a different audience, for a different purpose. We should expect some differences! However, a difference is not a contradiction or an error. It is only an error if there is absolutely no conceivable manner in which the verses or passages can be reconciled. Even if we do not have the answer right now, that does not mean the answer does not exist. Many have found a supposed error in the Bible in relation to history or geography only to find out that the Bible is correct once further archaeological evidence is discovered.

So, what are we to do when someone approaches us with an alleged Bible error? (1) Prayerfully study the problem and see if there is a simple solution. 2) Do some research using some of the fine Bible commentaries, "Bible defense" books, and Biblical research websites that are available. (3) Ask the helpful servants at www.gotquestions.org or your pastor to see if they can find a solution. (4) If there is still no clear answer after steps (1), (2), and (3) are followed - trust God that His Word is truth and that there is a solution that just simply has not been realized yet (2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16-17).

Jesus was both God and man. He was the second person of the Blessed Trinity. Yes he was a good man but he was more than that. He was also God and came on earth to die for our salvation.

OK Christianity has a few mysteries that we are asked to believe in in faith if we are to be a Christian and the Trinity is one of them. Here are some biblical references to the Trinity.

The Trinity was prefigured in Genisis 18:1 where Yahweh appears at the Oak of Mamre and three men stand before Him. This prophecies the coming of Christ and the three persons of the Blessed Trinity the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 13:13 tells us that the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit will be with us all.

In 1 Peter 1 : 1-2 the word is addressed to the faithful in "the foresight of God the Father, to be made holy by the Spirit, obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood." which he shed for our salvation.

A clear affirmation that Christ is the Son of God is the Transfiguration in Luke 9: 28 - 36 where "...a voice came from the cloud saying, 'This is my Son, the Chosen One. Listen to him.' Another is Penticost Sunday where the Holy Spirit descends on the Apostles in tounges of fire. Acts 2: 1-4 and they were filled with the Holy Spirit after Christ has risen from the dead.

Having said all of this, your belief in the Blessed Trinity depends on YOUR FAITH IN GOD. No one who comes onto any of these sites can prove to you that the Trinity actually exsists.

As one person said above, there are sites attacking the Bible and those supporting it. However, when it comes to actual belief, if you are gunuine it is up to you and faith in God. If you are genuine, it would help to get a Bible and join a church bible study group near your home. Your minister and other members will assist you in understanding the Bible much better.

I hope that if you are genuine this has helped you in your endeavour to understand the Trinity. If you are not genuine you are waisting your time and ours. We can't prove to you that the Trinity exsists. No one can.

Whatever the case may be. It can't be that billions of Christians got it all that wrong. We are a dedicated lot and will keep on praying to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit for a long time to come. God knows, the world needs it!!!

Corrupt human beings strengthen corrupted infants; the curse of the depraved is going all the way down to the third and fourth generations. the worldwide ought to be rid of evil or that's going to unfold and could ultimately end the worldwide; as is will take place here quickly because of the fact evil would be allowed to stay alive. examine the e book of Revelation. Please end accusing God in basic terms for the reason which you do no longer understand His instructions to Joshua. you need to be born back to work out the dominion of God. John 3:sixteen "For God so enjoyed the worldwide, that He gave His one and in basic terms Son that whosoever believes in Him, shall no longer perish yet have eternal existence."

  • Your full question is too much for me, but this one thing I did learn in church, and I think it's correct.

When people say that every word in the Bible is true, but then it might be quoting the words of some evil person, that means that those words were actually spoken, but it doesn't mean the words were true. In other words, when the section of the Bible is history, it's accurate history, but every word spoken by every person is not true.

Right at the very beginning, the serpent told Eve, "If you eat of that tree, you will NOT surely die." But that was a lie.

That doesn't mean the Bible is a lie, because that story really happened. It's a true story.

Your other questions are too deep.

Is it possible that the trinity doesn't exist? NO (St. Matthew 3:16-17)

NO not possible. Whether you believe God is a trinity it or not doesn't make you right.

As far as being sick of explanations, you just don't want to face that you might be wrong.

    YES

You don't need to ask us, you already know the answer. Please, half the things in the Bible was made up, or written based on someones perspective. It's not FACTUAL book, no one can prove or disprove most of the claims made in the Bible. Believe in whatever makes you feel happy.
