springfield GI Stainless?

I've come across a stainless springfield GI for $550, wanted to know your thoughts about the gun and the price. It should be ok as far as plinking goes right?

    Thats about the average price for one. They are good for anything you need it for, self defense, plinking, and just a good, well rounded pistol. I Like the look of the Stainless gun better, too.

    A friend of mine bought the same pistol for a little less, it was used but not abused. it's a great gun, shoots accurately, reliable and it has a good looking stainless finish on it too. 550 seems to be about the average price for one. Springfield has a long history of quality that can't be ignored.
