No, I am pro-life. However, my view matters little in the lives of others, so I am also pro-choice.

If life were as black and white as that - why would we seek the spiritual for answers?
Few women, when faced with the choice of having a child they can't properly support and an abortion that would empty their womb, make that choice lightly. Nor shall they avoid challenging consequences either way. It can be an awful dilemma caused by one mistake egged on by biology - not Satan.
I would never have an abortion. But I love children and have a family that can provide for them. I have not been raped and my life, though any pregnancy is risky, was never direly imperiled by my two babies. Shall I cast the first stone?
So, how can I say that the government should make this decision for these women when they will do little to improve the nature of the dilemma being faced?
Whatever your stance - where is your compassion for these women and the choices they must face? Does it lie in a forced choice that may criminalize them if they fail to risk death to give birth?
Peace be with you.

Many people that are pro choice would never abort. They simply believe that the CHOICE should be made available to all.

When someone ends the life of another innocent human being, we call that homicide (unless it's in war, but that's an entirely different conversation altogether). A fetus is
a. provably alive
b. a human being
c. a separate human being from the mother (check its DNA)
Why many of us seem to think people are nuts for questioning how abortion could be a bad thing is baffling to me. It's weird that somehow we can all agree that killing a newborn baby is wrong, but killing it the day before is worthy of a debate?
A woman's choice has nothing to do with whether or not you can kill an innocent human life. If it did, why prosecute mothers who kill their infants because they can't take care of them? The ONLY argument you can make pro-abortion that doesn't make you out to look like a total barbarian is against point "a" above: that a fetus is not truly alive. I will listen to that argument and concede that there is a period of time in the development of a fetus where it is not a viable human life. But until you can definitively prove when that is, I'm not comfortable killing fetuses.
If you're too squeamish to challenge a woman's "right to choose" take the whole problem of a woman who is under a lot of stress out of this whole discussion. When you grow a human being in a petri dish, when is it too late to flush it? When does that human obtain rights? He/she will never be born, so you need to pick a point in time where it's no longer legal for me to destroy that organism. (Unless you believe it's ok to enslave humans that you grow in a lab).
When does that human grown in a lab obtain rights? Answer that question, then that will be my answer for when you cross the line from abortion to murder.

Pro-life
Life is precious and abortion is killing an innocent baby.
Women already made a bad choice by having sex and not wanting a baby. If they don't want to go through all of this than use protection or DON'T DO IT AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since this is in Religion and Spirituality...I will give my reasons for pro-life, and I know the others will disagree but like abortion that is their choice to make.
My God Tell's me it is murder...God created us in the womb, not out of it.
And if you don't mind I would like to back up why I say this,
because some people doesn't know it is actually in the Bible.
JOB 31:15
"Did not He who made me in the womb make him, and the same One fashion us in the womb?"
Psalm 22:10 "Thou hast been my God from my mother
womb"
Psalms 139:13,
"For Thou didst form my inward parts; Thou didst weave me in my mothers womb"
A fetus, actually is a baby.
Now, I know some have said a woman has a right to her own body...when she is pregnant, She is now sharing her body,
it is no longer hers alone.
The American Medical Assoc. stated a mothers blood and the baby's blood are separate, therefore that means a woman is actually taking anothers life, that baby is an independent person from her.
Why does the law now say, if someone kills a pregnant woman, they have taken two lives?
If a woman takes drugs or uses alcohol and it causes the babys death they can charge her with murder.
But, yet a woman can kill her own baby by abortion.
God said, "He hates a lier, haughty eyes and shedding of innocent blood"
He is not speaking of killing someone grown, how much more innocent can you get other than an innocent unborn baby that can't defend itself.
Also, a lot of people that believe in abortion, will stand up for an endangered animal, but will approve the killing the unborn
baby.
Most women are using abortion as a form of birth control.
That woman Sherry on the View said, she slept around so much and had so many abortions she couldn't even count them.
This is a good reason why it is wrong to make this OK by law.
Sorry, for making this so long, but I just wanted to present my side of pro-life.

“When the sun is coiled up, and when the stars become grimy, and when the mountains are set in motion, and when the pregnant camels are discarded, and when the wild beasts are mustered, and when the seas simmer, and when the souls are reunited, and when the girl-child buried alive is asked, for what reason was she slain, and when the pages are spread open, and when the heaven is expunged, and when Al-Jahim (hellfire) is set ablaze, and when the garden is brought near, every soul will then know what it has wrought. Nay, I swear by the slinking planets, the running planets covered by sunbeams, and the night when it darkens, and when the dawn when it breathes; it is indeed the speech of a gracious Messenger.” (Quran 81: 1-19)
"Say: Come, I will recite unto you that which your Lord has forbidden to you: that you ascribe no thing as partner unto Him and that you do good to parents, and that you slay not your children because of penury - We provide for you and for them - and that you draw not nigh to lewd things whether open or concealed. And that you slay not the life which Allah hath made sacred, save in the course of justice. This He has command you, in order that you may discern." Chap 6. V.151
no need to abort the baby. it can be taken care of.

Pro choice and against inflammatory terms like "pro-life". It implies those who support choice are against life, which is preposterous and arrogant.
For me, pro-choice does not mean "go abortion", it means not giving the government the power to legislate medical decisions.
