This will depend on what type of modem/router you have.

If you are using an Ethernet connection, you should not need any additional drivers. Assuming your network card is setup and configured it should work fine. The network configuration is another issue entirely.

If you have a USB modem or internal PCI modem, then you will need the driver for this.

if u r having bsnl broadband then,

first you need to connect all the wires to their right place.

    switch on the modem.

let all the lights be stable wait for 1 or 2 minutes.

if they are not litting then there is something wrong in the properties of the modem.

in first step click on second option in second step also click on second option the fill your id and portal id and password write bsnlbroadband in ISP .your connection is made click on the connection and click on connect it will connect if it will hang then you need to download a new and good anti virus software.

The drivers are going to be unique to the make and model of the broadband modem you are using. There is no one driver for all broadband.

Because each modem and each broadband network configures differently, the best thing to do is to contact the help line for your broadband provider. They will know how to set up your specific broadband service. Each is different.
