Who is the guitarist in this tv commercial?

I just love the Ford focus commercial but the guitarist at the beginning looks familiar. Does anybody know who it is? Been bugging me for weeks and weeks.

    It's Mike Rutherford, previously of Genesis.

    he looks very similar to Billy Connolly but i don't think its him.
