What is this Chubracabra or Devil Dog? Found in Puerto Rico and Texas? What do you know?

I just saw a documentary on the History channel about this animal. It looks like a large dog but has no hair, has bluish gray rough thick skin and large fangs. It is truly ugle and it attacks other animals and sucks the blood out of them leaving the carcass behind.

In Puerto Rico they have been seen walking upright and in Texas on all fours. But in both areas they look similar.

They have dead animals to evaluate and have found they seem to be part coyotee and part dog. But these animals eat meat not just puncture and drink the blood.

Has anyone heard of these creatures? What are they?

Update:

The word is Chupracabra (I spelled it wrong).

The history channel had proof they drain animals of blood (goats, chickens, dogs). And they also had the real body to test in several cases where they were shot. They are studying them.

Anyone in South Texas know about the ones there?

Translated, it means "goat sucker". The Chupacabra was an unknown creature that was blamed for the massive deaths of sheep and other farm animals across mexico and texas. It was believed to be a "demon dog" of some sort. A small creature with a large appetite and a demonic personality.

I've seen this in the news. A missionary that comes to Church regularly from that nation says that there are no good "pound" type programs and few people actually care for pets properly. There is an abundance of free-roaming starving strays. I assume they do this as rabies and disease control. It's a pity that the people cannot afford to provide for animals there, but feeding your family is more important. People live in the dump in some areas of the nation.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tinyurl.im/y2wjq

If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.

It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

That is truly vile. The people responsible should be rounded up and shot then thrown off that bridge - see if any of them survive. I'm beyond words - that's just too much.

Its suspected that the creatures found that were identified as 'Chupacabras' are actually either mutant Coyotes, a subspecies of Coyote, or Coyotes with a new strain of Mange.

I vote for 'new subspecies' because they have physiological differences from standard Coyotes, like pronounced canines, tougher skin, and thinner muzzles.
