Now that des o connor and carol vorderman have quit channel 4 uk show countdowin should it be axed i think y
channel 4 uk television has been showing countdown since it began in 1982 now all the original presenters have gone i think the producers should call it a day .
apparantly she walked out today over contract details no takers as yet for her role but rory bremner tipped to take over des o connor id like to see them end it now it wont be the same without carol or des and all that went before them .

Carol Vorderman has quit Countdown after 26 years, her manager has confirmed.
The 47-year-old joined the Channel 4 quiz show alongside Richard Whiteley when it began in 1982.
She has since co-hosted with Des Lynam and current frontman Des O'Connor.
The news follows O'Connor's announcement that he will step down from the programme in November. Comedian Rory Bremner is reported to be the favourite to replace him.
Vorderman is rumoured to have walked out after failing to agree a new contract amid attempts by the show's producers to cut costs.
She is said to be "extremely sad" at the decision.

Carol Vorderman for sure! She is a thinking fighter with all that mathematics skill and she will take Des apart. I say she wins by TKO in the 3rd due ground and pound!!!
