The economy, housing and oil went into the toilet after Rosey Woopie Palosi and the DIM's took control of congress and the country?

Yes it did and they are doing everything in their power to keep it there. Pelosi refused to let the bill that would lift the moratorium on offshore drilling come to the floor for a vote. This would have actually helped people, she could care less.
