Well 10 million seems to be a lot of money but if you are not carefull it will be gone soon, a lot of people that get money by inheritance or by settlements or lawsuits usually blow their money within 5 years, I have seen it happen plus what do you have to prove to them, invest and live off the revenue and interest that you get, once you start touching the principal is going downhill, yes enjoy it but also make sure it will last you for ever, have some fun but dont let the money take over!!! Thats my opinion

If you are serious, first of all congrats. Lucky you.

The main thing people would do is to set themselves up financially for life. Do your investment research before you physically receive the money and look into the tax implications with your accountant. I would invest heavily in real estate in all the continents and in businesses which you would know have a big return.

With travel, go and visit the places you've always wanted but don't fritter it all on needless spending, it's a mistake people make when they come into lots of money. Don't forget your family and friends if you want to keep them and be careful of dodgy people hearing about how much money you're coming into. If you haven't thought of how to spend it, they will do the calculations for you.

Find a way to enjoy your money and let it work for you. Don't forget to help people less fortunate than yourself, there are many good causes that will give you satisfaction in knowing you've done something worthwhile. Many people can benefit from your donations. Good luck in your life.

The best bet is to invest most of it and not allow it to change your life very much. Look at the long line of lottery winners who bankrupted themselves soon afterwards. Your story sounds very suspect to me. If you're parents were rich enough to will you 10 million dollars upon their death, they most likely would have imparted a bit of wisdom to you on how to handle such wealth, not spend it. And another relative bequeathing that much to you? Sounds like a story (lie) to me.

Can you loan me some money?!! lol

Pay off your bills and then donate to the poor. Don't forget to invest some of this, because when it's gone, it's gone!

Invest half and spend the rest on booze and hookers. Once you are sick of that, spend the last half on rehab and medical expenses.

According to modern society that is the pinnacle of existence.
